The Challenge
The team behind Waba Health sought to create a visually rich and interactive website, inspired by Apple's signature scroll and trigger-based animations. The goal was to craft smooth, device-rendered animations that would elevate the browsing experience. Additionally, Waba required a bespoke design solution while maintaining the functionality of a managed e-commerce backend. This led to the selection of a Headless Shopify architecture. Ensuring high performance with numerous assets, while keeping costs low, presented another significant challenge.
The Result
Bitropia successfully developed a stunning, interactive website for Waba Health, built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind. The site features meticulously crafted animations and a bespoke design integrated with a Headless Shopify backend. By compressing and converting assets to the webp format, the site achieves fast load times. The integration of Strapi CMS and the strategic use of free tools like Fly.io, Cloudflare, and Google Sheets helped keep running costs low while delivering a high-quality user experience.
